I want to TAG you
Fisha tagged me. Thanks! Ok, here goes.
Question 1: What were you doing 5 years ago?
Let’s see… 5 years ago, I was in form 5. Boy, do I miss high school. Some of the good years of my life. I learned about a lot of things. About people, about life, and so much more.

Exams out of the way! Woohoo!
I’ll be leaving for Kuala Lumpur in 6 hours. Now making last preparations before heading out to the airport. Will be touching down in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei for an overnight transit before proceeding to Kuala Lumpur. If there’s WiFi anywhere throughout my journey, I’ll try to post up some pictures but no promises! :)
Filed under Daily Thoughts/Observations | Comments (3)…I also made some scones!
Apart from cheese cake, I also made scones. Surprise surprise, from an instant pack too! If you were looking for a recipe to make scones from scratch, then I’m afraid you came to the wrong place ;)
Ok, photos…
Filed under Daily Thoughts/Observations | Comments (2)When I’m bored of studying, I make cheese cake!
It’s really an amazing phenomenom that when I’m supposed to be studying, I’ll always be able to find an excuse to do something else. Be it reading people’s blogs, updating my own, watching YouTube, and the list goes on. Another fun job to do during exam season is cooking and baking! And last week, I made cheese cake.
Here are some photos…

So… one more paper to go before the one-month winter holidays officially begins!
Filed under Daily Thoughts/Observations | Comments (4)Boy, do I hate June 2008, and Barack Obama will lead Democrats into Presidency?
My goodness. I am currently experiencing a streak of bad things being thrown in my way this month.
First thing, I’ll be having my final exams in a couple of weeks. Hate it. Just can’t wait to get it over with.
Second, I just picked up my car from her 5000km service just now and I’m being slapped with the need to ground my car once again next Tuesday. My baby is in dire need to change her timing belt and water pump. Bye bye $1,000. Oh, not to mention, this month, I need to fork out more money for car insurance and rego (similar to road tax in Malaysia). Goes to show the need to spread big expenses throughout the year rather than flogging them all into one month huh?

This is another song that’s on my playlist at the moment. It’s the soundtrack from TV3’s Lestary series entitled Sindarela. The show, which is airing at the moment on TV3, is not really that great, but I do like the soundtracks.
Here’s the song Aku Sindarela by Amylea. This is the slow/sad version of Aku Sindarela.
Filed under Daily Thoughts/Observations | Comments (9)Ana Raffali: Tingkap Kaca (Lagu best, her blog, and her MySpace)
I just discovered another of Malaysia’s local music talent! I listened to one of her songs entitled Tingkap Kaca on Aisyah Rozi’s blog. First time I heard it, I thought, this girl with Baju Kurung is amaaaazzzingggg. Marie Digby in the making perhaps?
Filed under Daily Thoughts/Observations | Comments (4)Teacher-Student Sexual Harassment - True Story
The topic of the day is sexual harassment. Aisyahrozi talked about her experience. Mohd Ismail talked about his. Now, I’ll talk about my experience.
Well, it’s actually not about me being sexually harassed. It’s about a friend of mine.
This happened when I was in primary school. I think it was in standard 3.
The perpetrator = A married female teacher (I’m assuming she was already married).
The victim = a boy.

Talking about sex education, I’ve got a scenario for you.
Do you notice the condoms displayed in 7-Eleven outlets, shopping malls, Kedai Runcit, and etc. They can clearly be seen by adults and children right? Sometimes, they are displayed at the checkout counters!
I was wondering, what if one day, your child happens to notice those condoms and ask you the million-dollar question:
“Daddy/Mummy? What are those?” (asking you in a pretty loud voice while pointing towards the condoms)
How are you going to answer?

Personally, I love books. And I love spending my time at bookstores. Recently, I went to an Angus & Robertson’s outlet and found a rather interesting-and-non-orthodox title. The title was:
How Was I Made?
A first book about sex
I thought, now, that’s interesting! It’s a book about sex… for kids!
After browsing the book, I had to proceed to the checkout counter and purchase myself one. The pictures in the book and the language used…. were just effin hilarious!
Before you continue reading, please be warned that there are a few “naughty” pictures you’re about to see. “Naughty” pictures catered for children that is.

I’ve been tagged by both Irdzra and Cikgu Azleen. Thanks guys! Both tags are pretty similar, which is to list out 8 facts about myself, so I’m going to group them together here.
Here are 8 facts about me:
1. Finds Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix extraordinarily charming :D
2. Am not enjoying university one bit. By university, I mean my academic life. Apart from uni, I’m actually enjoying my life.
3. Pretty obsessed with books. I’ve got a few thousand books here with me at the moment. And… no… Haven’t read all of them yet :P
Filed under Daily Thoughts/Observations | Comments (9)Market Day for 1st Semester 2008
A couple of days ago on Wednesday my university had this thing called The Market Day. On that day, clubs and associations showcased what they can offer to returning and new students this year. In other words, recruiting members.
It was also supposed to be a day for us students to hoard on freebies, gifts, craps, and etc. (then realised that we don’t need those stuff in the first place and threw them into the rubbish bin). Unfortunately, this year was rather disappointing. It was not as “happening” as the previous years!
