The R.A.H.M.A.N. Prime Ministers of Malaysia (Pattern?)

I’ve been reading in a number of blogs talking about this. Seems like the prime ministership in Malaysia follows this pattern here >> R.A.H.M.A.N.

1. R – Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Alhaj
2. A – Tun Abdul Razak bin Haji Dato’ Hussein Al-Haj
3. H – Tun Hussein Onn
4. M – Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad
5. A – Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi
6. N – Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak

It was quite a debate on who’s expected to be the sixth one. Nik Aziz or Najib. Hehehe.

Interesting huh? 😀

Who started this theory anyway? Anybody knows?

Mengikut Dr. Mahathir, Ekonomi Dunia Makin Tenat (Malaysia Kini)

Read the article here.

According to Dr. Mahathir, the world’s economy is worsening day by day. Things are getting from bad to worse. He also said that Malaysia will be affected, whether we like it or not.

My opinion: Indeed, I don’t think we’re out of the shits just yet. One by one, giant companies are falling like flies. Bad news are announced consistently.

For the past couple of weeks however, things might seemed to be stabilising a little bit but I am still skeptical. Some experts are saying that a base is forming in the stock market, but I’m still not convinced. I still think that the bears are still in control. Boy oh boy I hope I’m wrong.

Recap and personal comments on Debat Minyak Datuk Seri Anwar and Datuk Shabery (PART 2)

Part 1 is located here…

A panel posed a question to Datuk Shabery regarding government’s action a number of years ago to increase petrol prices by 30 cents in which he wanted to know where the money saved from that decision went to. It was said that the money was supposed to be used to improve our public transportation facilities. If I remember correctly, Datuk Shabery failed to answer this. I myself am interested to know. To me, the same problems that we had a number of years ago are still present to this day. Why weren’t there any improvements? How was the money spent? [Read more…]

Recap and personal comments on Debat Minyak Datuk Seri Anwar and Datuk Shabery (PART 1)

Watching the first ever gentlemen duel between two of Malaysia’s top political figures, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Shabery Cheek, I couldn’t help taking down some notes to be used as materials for my blog.

My notes were really long but for the purpose of readability (if it was too long, people are going to doze off!), I’ll break them into a few parts…

Video Penuh Debat Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim VS Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek

I watched the delayed live telecast of the debate between Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek just now on TV3.

I’m now looking for the full video from the internet. If I’m not mistaken, TV3 said it’ll be on their website http://www.tv3.com.my but I can’t seem to find it. Perhaps, they have not uploaded it on the web yet?

Anyway, I think it’s fair to say that Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek did exceptionally well, considering Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is an amazing orator.
