Today, something funny happened in my Statistics class.
The lecturer was talking about population, samples, and etc. and he asked a student about the population of China.
Lecturer: Jimmy. You come from China right? What’s the population of China?
Jimmy: Errrr, it’s 1.5 bill… Wait wait wait… It’s about 60 billion… Hang on, I think it’s around 45 to 60 billion.
And the whole class laughed.
Hehehe. He made my day π
Note: Jimmy is not his real name by the way. Oh, if you were wondering, the world population is around 6.77 billion.
